MemGuard™ RO Membrane Antiscalants

The MemGuard™ range of reverse osmosis antiscalants is engineered to protect RO membranes from mineral, silica, and metal fouling across potable, industrial, and process water applications. Developed by Diversified Water Solutions, MemGuard™ products are designed to inhibit the precipitation and deposition of scale-forming contaminants that reduce membrane performance, increase differential pressure, and shorten membrane life.

MemGuard™ formulations utilise advanced threshold inhibition, crystal modification, and dispersant technologies to control hardness salts, silica, iron, and other foulants under high recovery and elevated operating conditions. By stabilising dissolved minerals and metals while keeping suspended solids dispersed, MemGuard™ allows RO systems to operate at higher recoveries, reducing feedwater consumption and concentrate discharge while maintaining consistent permeate quality.

The MemGuard™ range is compatible with a wide variety of membrane types and water chemistries, making it suitable for both low-fouling and high-stress applications. Typical uses include commercial RO plants, industrial process systems, boiler feedwater pretreatment, and water reuse installations where reliable scale and fouling control is essential to maintaining throughput and protecting membrane assets.
